Liberalisasi sana-sini....

Baca Melayu sokong liberalisasi

Kalau sedar, mana semangat mana pengat, mana makro mana koro, baguslah.

Irritating & Lame

What are the things that irritate bosses the most? One thing I can bet that will be one of the popular answers for most of you in that position is having to deal with staffs that keep on blaming the predecessor to his or her post every time he or she can't delivers. They will keep on harping that they can't help it, it is not their fault that they can't do their jobs right. It will always be the person previously holding the post's fault. No ingenious solutions offered just complaints in return. That bring us to another set of staffs that most likely to irritate most bosses are the ones that kept asking for others to assists them in discharging their jobs. After complaining, the cry for help. They will whine and moan, begging for assistance. The best part is that when they first came for interviews there won't be anything under the sky that they can't do. They can solve anything; they are perfect for the job. No other person is needed or suitable for the job. They are the chosen one.

People, you are also bosses, more than bosses, the lords over those politicians you elected to office. As the big kahunas, what would you do to these politicians who have been given the chance to start serving you (because they say they will serve you better than the last batch of employees that you dismissed on 8th March 2008), but during the course of employment kept on coming back to you with the same old excuses and lame reasons whenever they can't discharge their duties or make good of their promises?
  • Lim claimed that Koh, now a federal minister, was responsible for the controversy as it was during the Barisan Nasional (BN) government’s rule of Penang that the decision was made to alienate the land concerned to a private developer.
  • “I think the only solution is for Koh Tsu Koon as the former chief minister, who is responsible for this problem in Kampung Buah Pala, to take it up with the federal government and ask the federal government for an allocation or a grant to the Penang state for an amount necessary to have a win-win solution,” he said.

If you feel they are not up to it, when the time comes, in the famous words of Donald Trump's The Apprentice, say it to their faces-the ballot box way- "You are fired!"? After all you have done just that, to those that failed you. And you can continue doing that over and over again until you get the best out of them. Until they get it, that you hire because you want them to do the jobs that the previous one can't.

Steadylah Haji Hadi!

“What was proposed before has not been achieved yet. We want equality for all races but at the same time, the Bumiputeras must be given the strength,” he told reporters in parliament today.

Baca Hadi Awang against removal of 30pc Bumiputera equity requirement, says Malays still weak

Apa kata TG Nik Aziz pula? Ini berbaur nasionalisme ni... assabiyah pulak nanti ;) Apa pula kata geng-geng Malaysian Malaysia dan Fajar Baru Malaysia? Dia mau equality of the races tapi mau bagi strength lebih sama itu bumiputera, habis tu macam mana, reverting to the old formula since 31st August 1957 kah? Formula "New Dawn for Malaysia" hendak letak mana pula?

Apa kata orang 1Malaysia, UMNO & BN pula? Semua okay ka dalam seronok liberalisasi sana-sini tu? Atau nak kata ini mainan politik TGHH sempena dekat-dekat pilihanraya kecil Manik Urai ni ka?

Biaq pi lah.. janji depa "pakat berlumba pertahankan" mana yang patut...jangan dok bagi pelingkup cukup! :)

Penyakit kronik!

Teruskan semoga berjaya.

Pakatan says no to unity government, aims to win federal power

Pakatan Rakyat rejects unity talks

Pakatan Rakyat’s Stand on Unity Government

Oh! Saya berasa sanggat banggaahh!!

Caught between the Scylla and Charybdis

What some folks are going through now is akin to what Odysseus in Homer's Odyssey has to face when he went through the strait of Messina. Odysseus has to navigate the narrow strait between two monsters Scylla & Charybdis. Homer's Odyssey described Scylla as this 6 headed monster that will devour sailors of ships passed within her proximity while Charybdis is a single whirlpool creating monster that will suck any ship down into the depths of the sea with one gulp.

What did Odysseus do? He opted to pass far enough from whirlpool monster Charybdis avoiding the ship & the whole crew from being sucked into the depth of sea but only just near enough to Scylla, so that he would end up losing only few of his men to the 6 headed monster. Odysseus understood that when you are caught between Scylla & Charybdis, it is impossible not to encounter losses. It is how you minimize such loss that count. Odysseus did just that and by doing so stamped his immortality. It would not be an easy choice when you have to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea, but choose you must nonetheless.

Hendak seribu daya, tak hendak seribu dalih...

Unity talk, poppycock talk?

Just as I thought it was going alright
I find out I'm wrong, when I thought I was right
It's always the same, it's just a shame, that's all
I could say day, you'd say night
Tell me it's black when I know that it's white
It's always the same, it's just a shame, that's all

I could leave but I won't go
Though my heart might tell me so
I can't feel a thing from my head down to my toes
So why does it always seem to be
Me looking at you, you looking at me
It's always the same, it's just a shame, that's all

Truth is I love you
More that I wanted to
There's no point in trying to pretend
There's been no-one who
Makes me feel like you do
Say we'll be together till the end

Unity Talk? Or just another one of those poppycock talks? Or is it "No Action, Talk Only" talk? It would not take a genius to predict the foreseeable outcome, when one quacks, the other one clucks and in between there are one or two doing the moos and baas.

Stop the masquerade. The people first, your politics second! Enough with the pretense. We want to see some action, not only talk. And if that is what it take to make it happen, for us to see some action, by all means, talk .. talk until you are blue in the face if you have to. Break that ice, smoke that peace pipe, do the jai ho, whatever! Now, if it is just another pathetic effort by one party to score measly political points against the other, don't worry about it, the people will be the all in one judge, jury & the executioner to that come GE 13. The winner of that stinky game will be the biggest loser in the next election. We have seen that before.

But, in the event that the talk fails to even materialize, please don't tell me there are no common grounds to kick it off. Come on lah... I am tired of the baas and moos, those that clucks and quacks do not have to parrot them!
